All, any suggestions on where to get a replacement headlight? Mine is
original, local dealer said $60 for a stock replacement. Others are
suggesting modernizing to a halogen.

Josh, while you have the tank off, could you snap a couple of photos of the
carbs? I have an 86 450sc. I was unable to finish a carb rebuild due to a
military deployment. Now I have a couple of vacuum lines that I don't
remember where they go and the manual and online references don't
accurately
With a V8 and 4 wheel drive, the real question is why the driver stopped.
Had I been driving not a single motorcycle would have survived.

I've ever used.

No military service members and USAA? Don't have the scooter licensed yet
but USAA beats everyone on auto and home.

Go online and look for "KROIL." Oil that creeps. Far better than
anything else.

Calvin, I have an 86 450 NH and am having trouble placing all of the hoses
on the carbs (I bought a project). If you decide to take off the tank and
clean the carbs would you please take photos and share?
I used Seafoam to clean my tank and took the carbs apart for cleaning. It
runs, idles fast
All, I need some Nighthawk 450 assistance. I just returned from
overseas and a 1986 Nighthawk 450 fell into my hands. Some assembly
required.
I cleaned out the fuel tank and rebuilt the disassembled carbs. When
I re-assembled everything I couldn't figure out where all the vacuum/
fuel lines go.
