Actually, maintenance is rather low. Check the oil, coolant and go. I've had
all
the pieces off a couple of times to add mods and had very little trouble, and
I'm not a "wrench". It's more trouble to get the valve cover off my '85
CB650SC.
And it's a great touring bike. And I'm 82 now.

I also have a '85 CB650SC and it truely is a nice bike. Mine has 13,000 miles.
It ran sort of OK when I bought it some time ago but needed some cosmetic work
and some minor mechanical. It has been painted (stock red), all the chrome and
polished metal removed, cleaned and polished prope

Pacific Coast 800 with stock everything and mostly on the interstate. I

Additional thoughts; the head bearings may have loosened and a simple
tightening
may reduce the wobble to much less My '89 PC had the wobble problem and I just
tightened the bearing. Didn't have the "special" wrench so just hand tightened
and then tapped the bearing a little more. Helped for q
All Balls are the bearings of choice to rid the PC800 from the "wobble"
problem.
