off, slowly and carefully so you can feel what is going on, turn the handlebars
back and forth through center. See if there is any catching, roughness, etc.
If so, replace the steering column bearings.

That's a weird thing on a 92 NH 750 with that few miles. I never heard of
anyone having vibration issues. No offense, but is there a chance that
there is something wrong with your hands? Have you ridden other bikes
recently? Where are you located?

The bike was pretty clean , but can see it had sitting for awhile . It runs
great , but I get vibration to the point where my hands go numb . The
vibration comes on about 4000rpm and starts to dissipate around 5400rpm .
