(black) chrome exhaust pipes??
I spoke to a place in New York over the summer, and they do it, but
want more than what many of these bikes cost to do it ($1800.00).

Powder coating doesn't typically work for exhausts; the temperature to make
the coat melt and smooth is generally around 250-350F.

I have never done it myself, so I cannot really tell, but I've seen many
adds on the web of places showing powder coated exhausts. I assumed they had
an especial type for high temps.
