On thing further: in general do not allow lithium iron phosphates to
totally discharge (disconnect switch) or spend money for appropriate
charger for this battery. Most manufacturers do not have internal
controllers. NH starts as good as new now :-)

Also one more thing, I ran the bike with the petcock on off till it ran out
of gas (this mechanic guy I was working with told me to do that), and then
drained the bowls. I noticed one of the bowls didn't have anything in it or
at least nothing drained out. Is that normal or a sign of a problem?
Tad expensive, I've used Odyessy's and have good luck/longevity. Plus
the Dist. Is local to me and get a better than online pricing.

Mine's due for replacement and I'm thinking AGM. But that's
mostly because I like to try new technology just to see if it
lives up to the hype surrounding it.
My new smartphone, for instance, has more bells and whistles
than I'll ever use and is just another expensive toy as far as I'm
concerned.
And don't let the tube exit onto your exhaust pipe either. It's none

There is no way you could damage your charging system by push starting your
bike, except very new bikes or cars with an ECU (ignition / injection
computer), which is not the case of NHs. I push start my NH at each start,
downhill the morning when I leave home, in order to get the maximum runnin
r to diagnose. Other than that one battery type,
my experiance with Yuasa has been good.
