Regular oil is smoother shifting, but when you only have 2 quart engine oil
capacity, like s Versys 650, you are always chancing an engine meltdown for

thats not true torco sythetic is made for wet clutches and shouldnt be mixed

Modern synthetics and non-syn oils are totally interchangeable. You
can add one to the other with no issue. Why you would do that is the
question. Synth offers much better barrier protection for start up and
you will have the advantage of extended changes. Just DON'T use a
Syn
forth.
