Yea my clymer says it shouldn't be done unless the brakes feel "spongy" or
something along those lines. Also I know oil discussion seems to be taboo
here lol, but what oil do you suggest for an average, none extreme climate?

responsive I think. I only drained it from one caliper though, is it supposed
to work like that? Also I looked in the clutch master cylinder (or wtvr the lil
box next to the clutch is called) and its all brown and not cle
This is on a 650? You should bleed both calipers, each in turn.
On the 650, there should be a bleed valve on the left side of the bike, on
a cylinder shaped thing just above the engine case. You are correct, there
is a clutch master cylinder and it is on the handlebars, you bleed the
clutch much t
No, you have to bleed both sides.
Drain and bleed the clutch the same way you did the brakes. A service
manual will come in handy for this bit.

teaches you how to work on bikes. He teaches you how to restore older bikes
as a business, I thought that would be a lot of fun and helpful. I tried
following the manual drained it out of the left caliper and almost fucked
