Dennis, I have switched all my bikes to Shell Rotella T 15/40 (which is
JASO MA certified). Some came to me running on synthetic, others I have no
idea. The only problem I ever had was on a 1984 700S which was being run on

and when I switched to Rotella, I could no longer down shift
I just use Honda oil.
Whatever you switch to make sure it's Teflon free.

Dennis,
When I was an Amsoil Dealer we were told that it was possible to
switch back and forth. My thoughts would be you would be ok - or someone
can ship Amsoil to you.

Zealand using oil I shipped here with them. But, I've finally run out and
I've discovered that synthetic doesn't seem to be available here or it is
outrageously expensive. They also have something called a synthetic
'blend'
