i just leave my helmet on the seat... hasent dissapeared yet... but i have
had to pick it up from the gutter and pour the rain and leaves out of it..

I think I can beat that,I set my helmet on the pavement once while I worked
on my 650. When I picked it up 30mins later to put it on I glanced inside
first and noticed it was moving. Upon closer inspection I noticed it was
full of fire ants. I'm glad I figured that out before putting it on and
last week i put my hemlet on as normal, 3 blocks down the road i had to stop
and take it off because i heard a buzzing and felt stinging... yea, there
was a wasp in my helmet... luckly he couldent move well pressed against my
head and i have alot of hair...

I have a camelbak that I use for long rides. It works great and I can drink
