Chain maintenance is no big deal, honestly. Get a good quality chain and
sprockets, check on it occasionally.
If you have a center stand it's easy to run the chain through a brush and
reapply a coating of lube. Takes me longer to put the bike on the stand
than it does to clean/lube it.

I was thinking about getting an NC700X as a second bike, but I was kind of
curious how much a hassle it is to maintain the chain and sprockets? I would
enjoy the milage for commuting, and keep my NH for fun, aggresive riding. Is it
a big enough deal that I should shy away from it?
