Before pulling the clutch cover I would try putting the bike on the center
stand, starting the engine and running up through the gears, then in top
gear at about 2K rpm pull the clutch all the way in and swap on the rear
brake. If the plates are stuck that should unstick them.
I'm not sure why you
Crack the banjo fitting at the clutch master (with rag ready) slowly depress
lever. I just did a master on a cb750 (brake master but same operation) no
pressure no fluid because the small little take up port was clogged with gunk.

It doesn't take much pressure to push out the cylinder so even if there's
some air in the line that would still be possible.

If you think about it, if the plates are frozen, and the line is completely
bled, the lever would be next to impossible to squeeze. If it's still
moving easily I'd bleed and flush it some more.

You just have to keep bleeding it.That is the hardest system in the world
to bleed completely. There is a chance the clutch plates may be frozen but
honestly I'd keep trying to bleed and flush the lines for a while.

So I installed the seal kits in the master and slave cylinder and still can't
get the clutch to engage it just seems like it won't build any pressure 83

I have a 1982 650. I pulled the plates and everything off the brake side of
the bike. Cleaned and reinstalled and as soon as I tighten the 4 screws that
go in the springs it locks up again.

A couple points to clarify before I hazard a guess:
1) what model and year are we talking about?
2) what all did you remove when you said you 'pulled the clutch and
everything.'
Knowing these two will help us out a lot, thanks.

Hey all,
So my back wheel locked up the other day. So I pulled the clutch and
everything and while it was off the wheel would spin. When I went to
put the wheel back on the wheel locked up again. Ay ideas for the new
guy?
Thanks
