Honda is known for keeping paint codes secret. They want you to buy from
their sources.
If you buy the candy color from Honda you have to buy their catalyst and
reducer with the color, not to mention the silver under coat.
I painted my 82 Nighthawk with Candy Apple Red instead of buying from
Hond
I’ve got the same bike and there is a tag on the top left tube of the frame
when you take your seat off. Don’t know how to post photos here or I would
simply post a photo. However, the tag reads...and yours, if present, is likely
the same...three lines:

I'm restoring a 1991 750. I need to match the Candy Bourgogne Red. The
local Honda dealer couldn't help. Is there a spec for this where I can buy
it at an auto paint store?
