SESCO, a commodities (largely electricity) proprietary trading firm, is looking 
to hire Nim programmers!

Unlike many other markets, electric supply and demand must be instantaneously 
matched. As a result, market operators (called 
[ISOs/RTOs](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Regional_transmission_organization)), 
print prices based on the results of large, constrained optimization problems 
whereby power balance (and other concerns like equipment limits, emissions, 
etc) must be satisfied. Marketers like us participate in this 
partial-information game by speculating in auctions based on our analysis of 
the future conditions of the system. Work would include implementing 
power-systems simulations, high-performance storage & access for the variety of 
relevant market data, inference in auctions, etc.
