You might have better luck removing Nim and installing it using choosenim:

I also had problems with manjaro package. I prefer now to install from github,
it works better
I just installed it through manjaro's package manager: pamac-manager
Sounds like you have a corrupted Nim install. How did you install it?
I'm using manjaro, and my nim version is 0.20.0. I'm trying to install nimongo
with nimble using this command:
$nimble install nimongo
But I get an error which says, "Error: Could not read package info file in
/tmp/nimble_21023/githubcom_SSPkroliknimongo/nimongo.nimble;
... Reading as ini file
