The Hydra build process is sort of opaque to me; commits go into nixpkgs,
and eventually end up in nixpkgs-channels, but I have no idea when or why.
I've been waiting on some security fixes to get into the 16.03 channel
because I want to make an announcement when it happens. I've just been

I just wanted to say thank You for the answers.
As of 2015_11_28 it seems to me that one of the

I'm one of those people, who is new to Nix and

of killing the wiki, then I suggest that You
just make a wiki that is editable only to
the people, who have been with the project for
a long time and know, what they are writing about.

quite important from Nix adoption point of view.
So, the question is, where is the actual

Big thanks to pikajude, copumpkin, and anyone else. I really would like this to
happen. As pikajude said I have been staying on impure because of compile times
so if we could get hydra builds that would be awesome.

Dear Nix package manager developers,
I hope that I'm not asking a question that is
answered at some documentation, but I was
thinking that the Gnutella file-sharing network

might be an interesting "storage pool" for
software packages, because supposedly t
Hi all,
Would it be a good idea to create a mailing list for announcements only?
It would be nice if people who want to follow releases or major events can
sign up for an email list with low traffic.
Thanks,

Hey v.volle,
I had to say it was one of the supported os's like Ubuntu. Then you get an
error but you can mount /dev/cdrom and go from there. I would still like to dig
into this some more, but for now switched to virtualbox.
