Same here. I don't know enough to help but maybe in the near future I
can. I'm in the process of building a system. One of the functions is
for it to be a DVR. My goal is to use MythTV. We'll see how it turns

small beginning and monthly fee. Of course, you have to have hardware to use
the cable card ($120+).
Channels most-likely won't be an issue once you get it working. However, I
