I am so glad that everyone is ok. I live in KIngston Springs but the water did not get anywhere near me.. So I was blessed not to have any water damage to deal with.. There are so many out there that were not lucky , my heart goes out to them..

We live on the Girl Scout camp, camp Syacamore Hills, and camp was
pretty full on Friday night. Some left then, but those that didn't leave
by 11:30AM Saturday. But everyone that was here stayed safe and dry.
By Monday at 7AM water was down enough we could drive in and out of
camp safely (crossing the Cumberland tributary Sycamore Creek, that had
come well out of its banks for the weekend).

Some campers and leaders had a good attitude, and others were overly
paranoid, and in both cases, the attitude of the leaders was reflected
in the campers.

We lost lots of Hay that had not been harvested yet, have a lot of rock
deposited in the horse pasture (almost looks like a gravel road!),
and water stripped one arena of about $1000 of surface, and some
damage in the horse barn. Some fences are down,

The concrete bridge on camp at our entrance was covered by several feet
of water. I think we may have some engineers come out and evaluate it,
but it appears safe. We will need to have lots of debris removed there and
in the pasture. The pasture is also use for horse trail rides, that can't
happen for now. Some on-camp roads are washed out or partially gone.
We did loose a couple of 'porta potties' in low lying areas.

We did evacuate our house thinking that water would get high enough to
come in. Thankfully it did not.

Altogether it could have been much worse here. People and animals
were safe. ... We were blessed.
