I have always liked multiple desktops. KDE, Gnome, whatever. Yeah, so
much so that at one point I had five monitors with four desktops each.
With Ubuntu, the Gnome and Compiz / Gnome "compatibility" one still gets
the "workspace switcher" applet so th
