I attempted to delete that pending message, but some other moderator
apparently approved it as I was in the process of blocking it.

I deleted the garbage message and banned the offender in question. My guess
is that somehow the google groups platform is allowing a message to pass
through after a certain amount of time.
I did a quick check to see who all is a manager or owner and I recognized
every single email address. I'll pa
