Just looked at a memory upgrade for my desktop computer and discovered that
in 8 months, memory prices have not dropped..
Nov 27, 2009 : $111 for OCZ PC3-10666 Platinum RAM 4Gb Kit (2 x 2Gb)
Jul 30, 2010 : $110 for OCZ PC3-10666 Platinum RAM 4Gb Kit (2 x 2Gb)
and to top it off, memory densities

I'd go with the Crucial memory but you'd probably be ok with the
cheapest of the lot as well.

It might be because DDR3 has been introduced and some fabs are using
capacity to make DDR3, instead of DDR2, so supply hasn't gone up, which is
usually what makes prices go down.
