nmh is built and supported on cygwin. To give it a try, download
https://cygwin.com/setup-x86_64.exe, run it, and include nmh in the packages to
install.

I have additional constraints:
* I am required to use a Windows personal computer without administrator rights.
* I have not managed to have installed a software for running virtual machines.
* The firewall will probably block an attempt to download DavMail

to use your favorite MUA, here's a quick recipe that worked for me and
might work for you.
- Download DavMail (http://davmail.sourceforge.net/) for your favorite
operating system and start it.
- On the main Settings page,
