1.4.2 solved all these issues, Kevin. The accounts are now direct

Select two transactions from different accounts (select both accounts
first) and then you can use it.

If they are a transfer in MoneyWell, they will not show up in
unassigned. You can right-click on any transaction though and set it
as bucket optional.

So I understand the concept of not assigning both sides of a transfer
to a bucket. My anal side though sees transactions in the credit
cards where i am paying off debts showing the transactions as
transfers but also falling in the unassigned category on the left. Is
there a way to have these sto
Hi Kevin -- loving the new changes it's getting better all the time.
Out of curiosity under the Transaction menu it has 'Create Transfer
from Selection' and I have not seen it other than dimmed -- is that
function not implemented? It is not a necessary thing -- just
wondering.

Hi there, I checked in about a year ago with version 1.2 of Moneywell
for Auto Import support. Is it available yet? I've scoured the
website, and I haven't found any indication of it being supported in
this version.
Thanks!

Hi Kevin,
I faced some confusion on getting started. I was moving from another

marked it for the salary bucket, then allocated that income according

Hello,
I've noticed that when I move money from one expense bucket to
another, that amount shows up under the "Allocated" column of the
income allocation panel. I think it would be nice to make this
optional.
Example:
- I allocate $100 to electricity and $100 to groceries

Hey there!
Been wanting to try this for so long. I have downloaded and deleted it
many times as I didn't feel ready to rethink my daily financial
workflow. But it is a new year so what the heck!

I like it. That way you know when they are due. You could also fill

You should be getting an automatic notice about it when you run
MoneyWell the next time. You can also use the MoneyWell > Check for

Hi Kevin,
I was curious if when directly downloading from a financial
institution, if MoneyWell considers account transfers and creates a
link automatically for those? For instance, when I download from my
bank it shows a transaction in my Checking register called "Online
Transfer to SAV X".
For these I like to schedule them, but leave the amount at $0.00.
This way it's fairly obvious it needs to be updated with the correct
amount. I like having them all enter the register automatically so I
can mark them each open as I handle each and when no more are pending
I'm done.

Good answer Jaysen
OH OH OH one I can answer!
Select the bucket, then in the accounts section of the left panel
select all the accounts you want to see. As you select an account its
matching transactions will be added to the transactions pane.
Make sense?

I have a little feature suggestion for your next major release. I
think it'd be useful to allow the user to input a nonexistent bucket
name on a transaction, and within the error dialog, have a third
button, which lets you create that bucket, opening the bucket creation
dialog.

Working fine.
If custom smart buckets aren't on the list for 2.0, can you add it?
The predicate editor for Leopard makes it pretty easy, though that
would make you 10.5+ only.

Cleared status correctly, they are still mixed in and unsorted.
Reconciled does appear to sort correctly though. I'm looking for a
quick way to gather all my uncleared items so I can quickly clear them
each morning.

This seems to be turning into a feature request, so I'd like to add my
weight behind it too. I would find a "Shared Expenses" feature very
useful.
Thanks!
