Hi! I'm still in my first month using Moneywell, so I'm still trying
to get a handle on it. I'm using the latest version (1.4.4), and I'm
seeing a bunch of quirks, but I can't tell if it's just me or bugs in
the software.

I'm not sure what you mean or how I do that. Say I get a $500 check.
Deposit it into my Checking Account. On that deposit transaction, I'm
also selecting the Salary Bucket for that amount to go to for

Hi Kevin,
I am already getting direct downloads from US Bank (5.95 per month) to
my Quicken 2006 app. I've had this for many years. It must be
enabled. Had to let this sit on the back burner for several months,
but do want to get moneywell working. However, I will give them
another call. The l
Hey, Tony,
I wasn't really referring to the on-going process of what to do when
get a check, but rather when you setup MoneyWell.
For example...
You have $500 in checking, and $100 on a credit card. Your actual
cash available is $400, not $500. Because you plan on paying off this

accounts that only make sense in the context of trying to spend less
than you earn. They should not be tied to any particular accounts, and
if you are honest about spending only what you earn when allocating
money, these balances sh

How do others use the various transaction statuses?
This is my understanding of what they should mean, but MoneyWell seems
to interpret these slightly differently:
Open: a manually entered transaction that has physically taken place
but not yet posted to your account (

But isn't this the purpose of the buckets? If you respect your bucket

MW was acting all buggy for a bit - really bogged down, lagging bad,
and such. After I saved, closed, and reopened, there's nothing in the
Memorized area.
While I'm here, I'm also having a 100% crash rating when I have two
