I get paid monthly on the 12th, and so the monthly budget I want to
create goes from the 12th to the 12th of every month. However, I
notice that any scheduled transactions I create for any date between
the 1st and the 12th, does not automatically deduct from the bucket
amount the current date is s

Hi! I am new to Moneywell.
Is there a way to display the subtotals after every transaction of the
whole account? I know the total is displayed in the upper left hand
side but I want to know what the total is after every transaction. Can
you do that?

Are the aliases exact string matches?
My scenario is I have 'American Express' depositing money from credit
card transaction into my bank account. The memo includes the date the
transaction was processed so it is unique. Once a month they charge me
their fees with a different (and also unique to

Yes, I´m also having problems with the number format.
When importing, no mather what I try, it says "no amount field found".
If I continue with the import, all the credits to the account are
imported as debits. Frustrating.

Thanks for the idea. I'll try to do it with one specific bucket for

With iBank there is the notion of 'Smart Import Rules' where you can
assign category (bucket) based on any of the fields of the transaction
(memo, transaction type, payee) except amount and check number. You
can create exact or sub string matches, and match if Any or All

It would be great! It's somewhat hard to translate all default buckets
one by one without dedicated view for this task.

Hi Mike,
This password protection is very handy for people that are trying to
stop casual access to their documents by others in their household.
It's not desiged for anything else. Thanks.

Hi!
I just noticed that the MoneyWell documents can be password protected

be read by anyone.
Can I suggest removing the "feature" in that case, as it is not going
to add any security?
Or, even better, please implement strong
Hello,
Im considering buying moneywell to replace ibank but the memorized
transaction support is not quite enough for me in 1.4.8. The auto
matching of transactions to buckets is a little too unspecific. What
can we expect in 1.5? Any ideas on release date?

Thank you for reply. Maybe for this particular case it will work but
in case I'd need to change money flows due to overtaking from "Dining
Out" bucket it would be really hard to remember to move money back to
the original bucket.
In any case I think that owing money shouldn't be threated as incom
