Building from source is great for dev boxes.

On my production machines I am not allowed, and do not want, dev tools. I 
want things controlled by package managers (had to fight hard to be allowed 
node.js at all!)

And could do with the Yum repository updated. If Mr Hollingsworth could 
oblige.
