Graeme Rocher created GROOVY-8256: ------------------------------------- Summary: Regression in handling of properties of objects that implement the Map interface Key: GROOVY-8256 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GROOVY-8256 Project: Groovy Issue Type: Bug Affects Versions: 2.4.12 Reporter: Graeme Rocher
When upgrading to Groovy 2.4.12 there appears to be a regression in the handling of objects that implement the Map interface and also getters. I had to make the following changes to GORM: https://github.com/grails/grails-data-mapping/commit/968ae39a54aea239943f74b4b5111fb106fb0bc4 The HttpHeaders headers object implements Map https://docs.spring.io/spring/docs/current/javadoc-api/org/springframework/http/HttpHeaders.html In earlier Groovy versions the getContentType method was resolved when doing {{headers.contentType}}. In 2.4.12 the Maps {{get(..)}} method is resolved. This is a breaking change and shouldn't be in a 2.4.x release. -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.4.14#64029)
