Tags and levels of a path represent some dimensions of a timeseries. While the
levels are anonymous, tags has the tag key as their name. Since the path of a
timeseries is hard to change once it is created, tags are more flexible and can
be added or dropped easily.
IoTDB now supports level aggregation. But tags are used only to filter out
timeseries in `SHOW TIMESERIES` statement, and that's why tags are not widely
used.
Supporting tag aggregation allows users to store the dimensions as tags and
provides the ability to do complex analysis over their timeseries data.
