It's marketing also. Who would buy an unknown artist without first hearing at least a couple of tunes on the radio or online somewhere and maybe on a talk show or video? This way at least the fan base buys her album and get 2 Prince cd's with it. I think Tamars Milk and Honey album could've done respectable numbers on its own.
