Ok I solved.
When you configure node with node-config if you want to use a different
seed, you firstly have to create an object
set p [new Propagation/Shaowing]
$p seed heuristic 0
and then to USE -propInstance and not -propType in node-config

hi everyone,
i want to know how to use parse files written in java/awk to get the delay,
throughput, jitter routing overhead from the trace file. i will be grateful if
u could send the script files too for the above metrics.

I think there is a bug.

I used Propagation/Shadowing seed 0.
I expect different received power across different simulation run.
But always I get the same value, why?

I am trying stop enqueue in 802.11, I find Mac::send will resume the queue
(blocked = 0). I will put a condition before mac::sned to stop enqueue.
you can
check if your MAC do same - always get and send packets in the queue.

Hi, All,
I have a problem with queue blocking. In my simulation, I need to
implement the XON/XOFF mechanism(IEEE 802.3x) in data link layer to stop th=

unblock_on_resume_ as false at the same time. However, it just block th
Hello,
for my thesis I have to develop a IPv6 protocol, so I also noticed this
problem, I haven't tried to change anything, because I assume all the
classifiers and classed that inherit from it, are written for 32-bit
addresses, so I just use the 32 bit address as a simplification, because I

Mikael,
Thanks for your reply. I have more information that may shed more light on
the problem.
I basically have a new agent designed. In my code, I specify that the link
layer's 'up-target' is my agent node so that it can come to my recv() for
processing. But looks like that is not working fine.
Of course, just like in real internet

ACK packets may certainly be lost too, specially in MANETs. The most common
occurrence is when ACK packets collide with the RTS packets from masked/deaf
nodes in a highly dynamic scenario. Close to 15% of total collisions in a
802.11 network are ACK packet collisions.

hi,
How to set color for the node from .cc file.I've used the following format in

sprintf(d,"$node_(%d) color brown",nid)
tcl.eval(d)

I used this statement in .cc file but it's showing error.
Thanks for u
