hello all
can any body tell me is it possible to simulate two wireless LAN together in
ns2 operating at different frequency.

Hi all,
This is my first message on this mailing list.
The
trace file generated in my simulation is huge and I decided to parse it
using awk during the simulation and delete it from time to time.
I
managed to run awk on the file, but the problem is that I can't change
the trace file of the simu
Hi,
In WirelessPhyExt, a reception depends on the SINR level at the
receiver, instead of a simple Rx_threshold. So Pt is a factor, but the
noise level as well. Also, I think that no message may be received if
its power is below the carrier sense threshold. If I remember my own
experiments cor
Hi all!
My problem involves accessing the parameters of lower layers at transport
layer. I already accessed the public parameters but unable to access the
private ones. Any idea?
Cheers
hi every one,
i have a question about RXThresh_
i know to change the RXThresh_, i should set it in tcl script, but i want to
change this set value during simulation, so i try these two steps:
1- in tcl script, i set the value like this:
Phy/WirelessPhy set RXThresh_ 3.652e-10
2- in wirele
Hello
I am having a problem while I am trying to simulate multicast over a wireless
network (802.11). The error I get is the following. It would be great
if you could let me know what I am doing wrong
The error I get is:
...
ns: _o22 new-group 0 -2147483648 -1 cache-miss: can't read "protocol
Hi all,
I have some troubles in setting the transmission range in WirelessPhyExt
(ns-2.34).
I tested the examples with IEEE 802.11a and 802.11p and found (by
simulaiton) a transmission range of 163m and 202m respectively.
Changing the value of Pt_ does change the transmission range, but not in
