Hi Tom I had the exact/same situation and problem. I could not however find the patch you indicated in your post. (it was supposed to be attached to post?) In any case, I run the command in the post and got
myUserName$ patch -p1 -i install.osx.patch patch: **** Can't open patch file install.osx.patch : No such file or directory Can you direct me to the patch or post it again? Would be grateful.
