[ns] accessing c++ variabels from tcl

Hello I am finding difficulties in accessing c++ variables from tcl file I have used bind for the variabes my_var1 and my_var2 in c++ file I am able to set the values from tcl file but i am not able to retrieve these values in tcl file and store them in any other variable the c++ coed is like
