[ns] Help i need to modify aodv algorithm

we need to modify aodv algorithm by including blocking advanced ring search algorithm to increase the perfomance ...how the code should be modified?? also can you give a simple example how to use xgraph in ns2

I am in 4th year...doing project in ns2...i am new to this...i installed xgraph in fedora9...now i am struck with xgraph...its many errors when i am executing "exec xgraph out.tr -geometry 800x400 &"...plz help me
