Hi, I am writing this mail after a lot of man hours spent trying to find when and where does the packet learns about its next hop information.
For example, I create a network with three nodes, 0, 1, 2. Then, I create a packet which is travelling from src_ = 0 to dst_ = 2 via node = 1. I am trying to find out when and where does exactly in the source code, does the travelling packet finds out about its next hop information which in this case is node = 1. I will be really grateful if someone could comment on this question and clearly mark out the source code file where does the packet learn about its next hop address/information. Thanks, - Faisal
