hi to all, i trying to modify AODV protocal to reduce the route discovery time by considering the intelligent use of 802.11 RTS/CTS fields. I hav to use sendRTS and sendCTS packets of 802.11 when a neighbor receives a RouteRequest packet. Instead of using expanded ring search mechanism I m using this concept.
How do i refer RTS/CTS packets when a neighbour gets RREQ? plz suggest me cross layer referencing between MAC layer and routing layer in NS-2. thanx in advance.... waiting for ur reply.... bye tirumal
