[ns] ns2 installation under windows

Dear all ,

I installed NS2 under UBUNTU linux operation system, also I have windows on the 
same computer, can I install cygwin in the windows OS in my computer then NS2 
under windows. does  the cygwin interfere with Linux UBUNTU.
