First of all, Adrian, please get your facts right. Whilst Colin
freely admits he is "not a competitor" he did, in the past, compete.
I do not have records of all competitions available, but he won both
beginner and intermediate classes of the NPS competitions in 1961,
and then in 1964, judged by Bi

Dear All of You -
I will never be more that a pedestrian player of our glorious
instrument. By that I mean my playing will perhaps satisfy myself now
and then, and in Louisville (unless Tim Hall is still here) I'm likely
to be the best NSP player in a 15 mile radius. Maybe 115 mile
Adrian and Pauline playing duets at the Manchester Pipes Day last week.
The best musical experience of the year.
Those who were present will probably agree. Those who weren't, sadly
