I figured out how to specify a minimum number of letters on a word break
(hyphenation). For example, I don't want ConTeXt to break "hard-ly." The
solution is in the manual; I just couldn't find it for a while. Here it is:
\installlanguage[en][lefthyphenmin=3,righthyphenmin=3]
\setuplanguage[en]

Thanks Mikael for your advise.
However, I have a 1000 page document which I have been typesetting in
Latex thusfar, and I am considering shifting to Context.
There are some other things to say about this project, but the first
step would be to get koi8 working.
I have attached my sample file.

As far as I understood: You want a black rectangle at the margin
that has no text in it, always same size, but moving position per
chapter?
Yes. More precisely, chapter 1 - 5 would have a blac

I am still struggling with a Russian text in koi8.
The sample below, which I partially copied (from Mikael Persson's site)
does not work.
Can anyone help me out?
Kind regards
