Dear all,
Forgive me if I sound naive. I searched the archives, but could not
find the solution for my following problem:
I need to have line numbers for the text formatted in two columns. The
numbers for left column shall appear in the left side and that for right
column shall appear in the ri
I have just implemented something like this using layers. I store templates in a db which show where photos can go on a page and then allow users to put photos on the page. If you are interested contact me directly and I can show you what I have done to have context typeset the images. Some of t

Thankyou very much.
I´ve fixed it using \marking, making a mark for use in the headerstexts
instead of chapter.
Now, the footnote number in titles (chapters) is veri big. If someone want
to tell me the solution...
I saw that almost anything is posible but ones have to search...
thankyou.
Hi,
maybe that the use of \nomarking is an option. However this will place
an ellipsis in the title
\setupheadertexts[][{\getmarking[section][current]}]
\starttext

Hello,
in my scripts i use different kinds of figure, defined as floats cloned
from the original ConTeXt figure:
\definefloat[afigure][afigures][figure]
\definefloat[bfigure][bfigures][figure]
In my script environment i use different setups for figure, afigure and
bfigure that are not shown he

Hello folks,I have been playing around with Context for over a month and I think it is a fantastic tool. Comparing it with LaTex it is a more general tool and gives you far more options. Now, I was wondering if any Context user has created photobooks with contexts and how they went about doing it.

I'm sorry, I downloaded the beta a few hours too early :(
I tried it on ConTeXtgarden as well and the problem remained (the
installed beta was too old there as well). So it's definitely
Patrick's fault! ;))

Hello,
When I place a graphic in the bacground and switch columns on, the
background gets shifted for some reason.
I hope that the problem will be evident from this example (since it
behaves in a pretty random way - sometimes it's OK and sometimes it's
pretty much shifted to the left).
