Hi Mojca,
Your email message uses the chinese simplified (GB2312) encoding,

Dear Hans,
Thank you for your concern.
There is no non-ascii character in folder names except ~/Documents/.
And the TeX directory is
/usr/local/texlive/{2007, texmf-local}/...
By the way, where is setuptex command which can be used in Mac? I

Hello,
I have a document consisting of title page, some introduction which
should have pages numbered with roman numerals, and finally the real

Hello,
While trying to convert some stuff from HTML to PDF (using LuaTeX) I
have noticed some minor problems: unicode math characters work OK in
text mode (under assumption that the font has them), but not in math
mode. In pdfTeX they work OK in both cases. (That behaviour is
expected, but not nec
Thanks Arthur.
No words needed. I totally agree with you. It's that I was confused
by the xampl.bib. I didn't understand it was just an example file (oh
well, I should have suspected, indeed...).

It's not. Look at the output by texexec: it tries to open xampl.bib.
Just replace it with the actual name of the bib file.

I see the problem with the "quote mess"; in t

In my experiments with luatex, there's one thing that may be
surprising for many users: we have come to expect that the characters
` and ' in our input files map to single left and single right
quotation marks. luatex just typesets them "verbatim," so to speak.
It converts the combination `

Dear all,
I am currently testing the installation of ConTeXt/MkIV on Debian and
thus being in search for test documents using MkIV features/luatex
stuff. Or at least document which I can/should be able to process with
luatex/context.
If you have any documents it would be great if you could send m

Dear Hans,
Thank you for the reply.
Here is the codes of luatools.lua from line number 1106 -

1108:return (string.gsub(md5.sum(str),".",function(chr)
