Based on some help I got yesterday, I setup some environment
variables to see if I could get MarkIV working; still no joy:
env | sort | egrep 'LUA|TEX'

LUATEXDIR=/usr/local/

I recently switched from a full-installed teTeX 3.0 system to the
latest TeXLive CD distribution, in hopes of simplifying my upgrades. As
a result, I followed the garden instructions for TeXLive installation,
and downloaded the latest ConTeXT as well. Now, I see this

I am experiencing some strange behavior with external graphics. I
use one file to setup all the graphics for later inclusion. All that is
in the file is a bunch of "\useexternalgraphics" statements, so I can
reference the graphics by name later. The problem comes when I try to

Thanks to some help from Hans, I have a very clean setup which
creates a "standard" cover for my project documents. It has a long
colored swirl the length of the page, two logos (mine and the
customers') and a title. The code looks like this

\setuplayout[page]

I have a small block which creates a "DRAFT" watermark as the page

I downloaded and installed ruby 1.8.4 from sunfreeware.com, and now
I can at least use the texmfstart command. I ran "texmfstart texexec

I had not updated my install for quite some time, so I thought today
might be a good time to try. I downloaded all the latest cont-*.zip
files from the Pragma site, and did what I normally do to update:
1) Unzip all the new files in my texmf-local directory
2) texhash
3) texexec --make

Just downloaded and installed 2005.11.16, and now a document
