It seems that, with the latest beta, the \setupmathematics with
stylealternative is not working.
I tried
\setupbodyfont[lucidaot]
\setupmathematics[stylealternative={calligraphic}]
\starttext
\startTEXpage[offset=3bp]
$\mathcal A$
\stopTEXpage
\stoptext
and got the attached output lcm.png.
