Hi All

Is it possible to stack HP StorageWorks SAN Switch 2/8v switches?

Scenario

HP Blade Chassis 6 x BL20p blades installed 3 x 2 node windows 2003 server
clusters
2 x HP SW SAN Switch 2/8v
HP SAN with 2 x MSA1500 controller in active / redundant configuration

So there are two physical links between each server and each MSA

We want to add 2 x new blades to build another cluster however this now takes
our SAN switch port requirement to 9 ports which cannot be serviced by the
current switches

This setup will be moved on to new hardware in 18 months to 2 years so we don't
want to spend a huge amount of money getting this issue sorted

So the question is can we buy another 2/8v switch and stack them in any way?
i.e. through the FC ports on the front?

Or is there another way around this issue?

Thanks

Laurence
