Is the Event Log service running on Server B? Can you open Event Log on

Subject: Can't
I have no idea, but I can replicate the problem on a small 3 server lab
network - a Win2k AD DC and 2 member servers. Servers can connect to each
other to do ANYTHING except Event Viewer. Even the domain admin logged into
the DC can't connect remotely to the 2 member servers for event viewer.
If these are both 2k machines on the same network all you have to do is
go to the event viewer on the machine you want to view from. Then where
it list event viewer (local), right click and choose connect to. From
here select another computer and browse your network the the machine.
Double
management, I get the above error.
Thanks,
-Lana

You just did.
I appreciate it when a resolution is posted, and we can all benefit from
your search.
Thanks.
