The only system I played with is the Polycom setup we have. We have a
VSX 7000, which is really old, but there's a PC client for it that
seems to work really well. The Polycom (software client and hardware
unit) supports encryption, and the hardware unit can do multi-point
communication.

Would a webinar-type system with video suffice? If so, I recommend
taking a look at MegaMeeting. Very easy to configure and schedule,
and can be 1-to-many if needed.
