Joe,

        I would recommend 32 and make sure the settings match in both the Array
Utility and the OS.  However, methinks your biggest problem is a lack of ram
or improper usage of same.  I had similar problems running Great Plains
(version using Pervasive SQL) and ended up adding another gig of ram to the
system, which resolved most of the issues.  When I upgraded to WIN2K Server,
ALL the issues were resolved (I also changed the stripe set to 64 K
clusters, only because WIN2K really likes that size).

Questions: should the stripe set on the computer (via the Compaq disk array
configuration utility) be set to 32 or 64?? Will this improve performance?
