Have you tried using the NT4 driver and see if the W2k machines can print.
I've ben finding that all of the NT4 printer drivers on our network are
compatible with our W2k workstations.

One thing you didn't mention is what kind of printers you are using?
As an Example, with HP LaserJets, the W2K driver download is a cross
NT4/W2K version. So when you install/update the drivers, they are
automatically compatible with both.
