My apologies for pushing this one again.
Just after I posted last week the list heated up about the IE8 download
and my poor little question
You can disabled printer mapping locally using the Client Settings tab in
the RDP configuration through tscc.msc

I set up a new Terminal Server and users are pulling their local/mapped
printers to the TS. I know I can uncheck the printer
