Vista Laptop as PA??

I have an instructor that teaches in a classroom that is slightly too big for her voice, but too small to have a full PA system in it. The room does have speakers in it, so the instructor would plug the speakers and a microphone into her laptop and use it as a PA when she was using WinXP. She

Its definately possible, as I have done it accidentally before in Vista. Its just takes a manipulation of he input/output settings in the audio control panel. Mine was control panel from the manufacture ASUS and was quite easy to do. I suppose it could be more difficult depending on the control
