I tried the "sonic" kernel and it panics right after sonic loads

The support for the 16 bit cards has to be reimplemented - it got lost
in the kernel repositories somehow.
I'll give it a try.

Hi Carlos,

In order to be able to configure the keyboard you have to do the keyboard
detection three or maybe more times.
You will then be prompted to choose the keyboard type; select USB keyboard.
Never choose mac keyboard!
